I am excited to have my poem Rich People published in Vol. X, Issue 3 of The Bangalore Review! Head over and give it a read!

The poem is also featured on the home page this month.

About the Poem

This poem is a bit different than ones I normally write. It’s a bit bleak and pessimistic.

I conceived of this poem while I was filling out my taxes on a generally bleak news day. I was compelled to capture the monotony of general privilege, the power we have to create a happy life for ourselves and our family, the powerlessness of being a cog in the great machine, and how fast one might choose to burn it all down if they wished.
