It is April 2023, National Poetry Month. I am recording myself reading one of my published/curated pieces of poetry each day for 30 days.

Reading # 13 of 30

This poem is titled An Orange in the Sun. It is a poem dedicated to wonder and inspired by Professor Brian Cox and his science show, The Wonders of Life. In Season 1, episode 3, Professor Cox builds a cloud chamber in the desert. I highly recommend you watch the video after you listen to the poem. Hopefully, it fills you with a sense of the invisible wonder all around us. This poem is available in the print edition of The Greensboro Review, Issue 110, Fall 2021.
