It is April 2023, National Poetry Month. I am recording myself reading one of my published/curated pieces of poetry each day for 30 days.
Reading # 16 of 30
This poem is titled See You at the Air Down. You can buy a pass to drive your car onto the beach in New England. To do so, you have to let the air out of your tires to avoid getting stuck in the sand. If you regularly vacation at these beaches, the air down and air up process becomes a ritual, a gate between two works. This poem is available to read online at The Write Launch.
