Last year, my goal was to get 100 poetry rejections from various literary journals. It was a lot of work to write and submit to hit that goal. This year, I decided to go a little slower. I wrote less, edited more and submitted the work I was most happy with. It made for a more calm year, but I ended up with many fewer acceptances than when I was blasting everything out there!
